My name is Stuart Tomanek - I am an avid watch collector who started dealing in watches in 2001 when I launched Russian Watches International following a visit to St Petersburg.

The following year I discovered Orient watches of Japan and sold models from my site: Orient Watches UK. The quality of Orient impressed me so much that I expanded my range and also began to sell Seiko and Citizen.

GMT Classics was launched in 2008 and brought together the big Japanese watchmakers: Seiko, Orient, Citizen and Casio - supplying hard to find models at substantial discounts.

My aim is to make available to European buyers - those Japanese watch models not available in European watch outlets and at a price which is competitive. Also to continue to expand the range of fascinating timepieces - the best and most interesting Japanese watches.
